In this exclusive Q&A, they share insights into theirjourney, their love for dogs, and advice for aspiring breeders.

What got you interested in breeding?

SKF: "We have always been dog lovers and had dogs in our lives. After attending our first dog show, we were captivated by the inclusivity it offered, especially for kids."

"It sparked our interest, and we decided to give dog breeding a shot, as it was an activity that the entire family could enjoy together. It's hard to beat something that not only brings us joy but also allows us to spend quality time as a family while being competitive."

What is your favorite breed to work with?

SKF: "I would have to say that the American Bully is my favorite breed to work with. I love their powerful look and muscular appearance, especially on their smaller frames. Despite their robust build, they have such a great temperament, which makes them a joy to be around. Their combination of strength and friendliness truly sets them apart."

What invaluable advice would you give to someone thinking about getting into breeding?

SKF: "My advice would be to thoroughly research the breed you are considering breeding. Dog breeding requires wholehearted commitment, including time, money, and space. While it can be incredibly rewarding, there are no days off.

I also suggest asking questions and doing your homework whenever you're uncertain about something. In dog breeding, you'll always be learning something new.

Last but certainly not least, stay true to your vision. You don't have to chase trends; focus on what you believe is best for the breed."
